Celebrate the changing of the seasons and come to the park for a fun family hike as a naturalist guides you along one of our many beautiful trails. We’ll bring together a unique blend of natural history to tell the story of the Colorado River and how the river influences animal, plant and human life along its banks. After your hike, visit McKinney Roughs’ interactive exhibits and enjoy a nature craft or enjoy one of our self-guided nature scavenger hunts. Bring a picnic lunch, and make it a nature day! Hikes are designed to include families with children of all ages.
Admission Details: FREE! Pre-registration is recommended. Hikes are one hour and leave from Visitors’ Center at 10 am and noon.
